Plus, there’s no pressure to commit long-term, so you can learn at a pace that’s comfortable for you and enjoy the journey.
Ukulele lessons

Whether you’re brand new to the ukulele or looking to build confidence, these lessons focus on learning chords and playing the songs you love. We’ll keep things fun and accessible as you develop rhythm, strumming patterns, and the skills to cover everything from classics to current hits. Ukulele is one of the most beginner-friendly instruments out there — and it’s a perfect way to jump into music with heart, ease, and a whole lot of joy.

Petal & Chord offers a cozy, creative studio space available for regular teaching or rehearsal. The room is equipped with a keyboard, an amp, a microphone, a full-length mirror, speakers, and a drumset. The space is ideal for voice and instrumental coaching, practice sessions, or rehearsals. The space also has Wifi and a USB only printer, making it a nice office space if you need some piece and quiet. Whether you’re a fellow instructor or an artist looking for a consistent, supportive environment, this space is designed to help you thrive.

Lessons are held in my cozy studio at the historic Old Rainier Brewery in Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood. If the commute’s a stretch — or you’re tuning in from out of state — virtual lessons are also available, so you can learn from anywhere.
